You might not have known it if you had met her, but my grandmother was unrelentingly determined to get what she wanted, and as a result, she believed that pretty much anything she set her mind to was possible. One of her steadfast convictions was that the people she met and spoke to would be moved by her story and would support her rescue-the-children, eat-healthy, praise-Jesus way of living.

I have been thinking about her determination quite a bit during this past month.
